Tenant Fees

Moore & Partners aims to make letting a property as straightforward as possible by providing you with all the information you need to make your move pleasurable. Once you have found a property we will advise you of the charges and provide you with a Breakdown of Move-in Costs. This will set out the process and any fees or charges payable prior to signing the tenancy agreement, including the first month’s rent and security deposit.

Initial Fees and Charges


To Secure a Property

  • £300.00 Holding Fee – This amount will be taken off of your first month’s rent, subject to references being passed satisfactorily. Once received we will take the property off the market and no further viewings will be arranged. Should you fail referencing or decide not to proceed with the tenancy this amount will be refunded to you in full.

Referencing

Tenant Referencing – For All Properties

  • £300.00 Inc. VAT for 1st Adult Applicant Referencing
  • £210.00 Inc. VAT for Each Further Adult Applicant Thereafter
  • £90.00 Inc. VAT for Permitted Occupier Administration
  • £120.00 Inc. VAT Guarantor Administration
  • £42.00 Inc. VAT Addendum for pets etc.

Should you decide to no longer proceed or fail referencing your referencing fees are non-refundable.

To Secure a Room

  • £150.00 Reservation Fee
  • £210.00 Inc. VAT for Room References
  • Should you decide to no longer proceed or fail referencing your admin & referencing fees are non-refundable.

    Check In Monies

    Prior to moving in you need to pay:

    • First month’s rent payment
    • Deposit - usually equal to six weeks rent, however if a larger deposit is required we will notify you.
    • Check out fee:
      • £168.00 Inc. VAT for studio apartments
      • £192.00 Inc. VAT for one bedroom properties
      • £204.00 Inc. VAT for two bedroom properties
      • £228.00 Inc. VAT for three bedroom properties
      • £276.00 Inc. VAT for four bedroom properties
      • £330.00 Inc. VAT for five bedroom properties

    What if my Tenancy is Renewed?

    • £120.00 Inc. VAT for Tenancy Renewal
    • £210.00 Inc. VAT for any tenant changes per person

    Other possible costs

    • £180.00 Inc. VAT for early release administration

    Early release reimbursement: Pro-rata reimbursement of remaining landlord fees. Please enquire for further details.
